Interlibrary Loan and COVID-19

Due to adjustments needed during COVID-19, until further notice, Interlibrary loan services will be provided with the following limitations.

  • We can only process article and book chapter requests.
  • Request delivery has been suspended.
    • Request delivery is the IUCAT service to request physical books from other IU campuses.

If you have questions about the status of your requests, overdues, renewal or other please contact Anne Koehler or Clyde Robinson. General policies and frequently asked questions can be found on the Interlibrary Loan FAQ page.

ILLiad Introduction

ILLiad is an electronic interlibrary loan service available to everyone in the Indiana University Northwest community. Users can submit requests for library materials from other libraries online, including electronically receiving journal articles.

This guide aims to help users set up an ILLiad account, submit requests, and find information.

To continue directly to ILLiad, you may either use the left box or go to the ILLiad home page.

Please note that the ILLiad system is separate from the IU CAS system that is used for your E-mail, access to Canvas, logging into One.IU, etc. It is not already created for you. If you have not created the account previously, you will need to create one through the First Time Users link.

ILLiad Topics

The links on this page lead to our ILLiad LibGuide which explains how to use the ILLiad system to request materials and perform other functions. Although ILLiad may look different in some images, the system still operates in the same manner.
