Street-wise, the library is located on the north side of W 35th Avenue at the direct midpoint between Jefferson Street and Broadway. This street view shows that street's entrance.

As of this time (3/8/24), the Gary Public Transportation Corp provides the L1 route which includes a stop at 35th and Broadway, signified by the letter I (capital i) on their maps.
Visitors may purchase a parking permit through the IU Northwest Parking Services website. Contact parking services for any questions regarding permits and parking options.
