Due to cuts to the Indiana State Library budget, as of August 1, access to several databases made available through the INSPIRE program will be significantly altered or unavailable as we seek access through alternative avenues.

S371 Social Work Research - Jill Chonody: Finding Quantitative Research

This guide is for the online class S371 taught by Jill Chonody.

Finding Quantitative Research

Two databases allow you to find quantitative research as you search: PsychARTICLES and PsychINFO. For both, you will want to do an Advanced Search and go to Methodology and select Quantitative Research. When you add this limiter, your search will only yield quantitative research.

You can find quantitative research in other databases, however, you can not limit it within your search. You can try tricks like adding the words quantitative or quantitative study with your search. When you read the abstract and/or methodology, you can determine if the article is a quantitative study.
