The American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) offers numerous resources related to community food and ornamental gardening, urban forestry, preservation and management of open space, and integrated planning and management of developing urban and rural lands.

The National Recreation and Park Association provides a guide for building a community garden in your park.

The USDA offers resources for those gardening or farming in an urban environment, including community gardens.

The University of Missouri Extension provides a Community Garden Toolkit.
