This railroad depot was built in 1929.

 

Brown Mansion

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

The mansion was built in 1885 by George Brown, a farmer.

 

Buckley Homestead

Tours are conducted by the Lake County Parks Department.

Agricultural life during the 19th and early 20th centuries is depicted on this active farm.

Melvin Halsted, the founder of Lowell, built the first brick home in Lake County.

 

Wood's Grist Mill
