The American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) offers numerous resources related to community food and ornamental gardening, urban forestry, preservation and management of open space, adn integrated planning and management of developing urban and rural lands.


USDA National Agricultural Library Community Gardening webpage includes many resources, such as:

  • USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service: Community Garden Guides
    • A collection of guides to support community gardeners in planning and developing their gardens and extending the growing season.
  • University of Missouri, Extension Service: Community Gardening Toolkit
